Acuity Results are IN!

If you're curious about your child's Acuity Math or Language Arts and/or DIBELS reading scores, please contact me as soon as possible! I'm happy to share results, and I can even provide specific skills your child could work on at home to enhance his/her knowledge! ***Please give me at least 24 hours to respond with specific information for your child!

4 simple ideas to guide your child toward success . . .

  1. READ together daily: Allow your third grader to read aloud to you, but please ENJOY reading aloud to him or her, too! This will foster a love for reading, and it will provide experiences with what a fluent reader sounds like!
  2. TALK about school-What was the best part of the day? What's one goal for tomorrow?
  3. GUIDE your child through homework--I would love to see parents and 3rd graders complete ALL assignments together through guided practice-this will support your child's understanding of the skills!
  4. EXPOSE your child to new experiences--this can be through books, newspapers, Internet sites like National Geographic, Time for Kids, and Scholastic, or physical adventures to museums, etc.
